Free SEO audit
Check the technical and on-page signals search engines actually use, and find out which ones your site is getting wrong.
What we check
Titles and meta descriptions
Present, unique, and the right length to display in full rather than being truncated mid-sentence.
Heading structure
Whether you have exactly one H1, and whether heading levels run in order instead of skipping steps.
Indexability
Noindex directives in both the robots meta tag and the X-Robots-Tag header, plus a robots.txt that blocks your whole site — a staging setting that reaches production more often than you would think.
Canonicals and duplicates
Whether a canonical URL is set, and whether several pages are competing with identical titles.
Sitemaps and crawlability
Whether an XML sitemap exists and is referenced from robots.txt, so new pages are found quickly.
Structured data and Open Graph
Whether search engines can read what your business is, and whether your links produce a proper preview card when shared.
Why technical SEO is worth checking first
Content and links matter, but neither helps if a search engine cannot crawl your pages, cannot tell them apart, or has been instructed not to index them at all.
Technical problems are also the cheapest to fix. A missing meta description takes two minutes and changes what every searcher reads about you. A stray noindex left over from a staging site can remove you from search entirely, and removing one line undoes it.
That asymmetry — small effort, large effect — is why a technical pass belongs at the start of any SEO work, not the end.
Questions
What does an SEO audit check?
Titles, meta descriptions, H1 and heading structure, canonical URLs, robots directives, robots.txt, XML sitemaps, Open Graph tags, structured data, image alt text, HTTPS, internal linking and indexability signals.
Will this get me to number one on Google?
No tool can promise that, and you should be wary of any that does. What an audit does is remove the technical reasons your pages cannot compete, which is a precondition for ranking rather than a guarantee of it.
How often should I run an SEO audit?
Monthly is a sensible rhythm for an active site. Sites drift as content is added, plugins update and third-party scripts accumulate, so problems reappear even after you fix them.
Does this replace Google Search Console?
No, and it is not meant to. Search Console reports how Google already sees your site using data only Google has. This audit inspects your pages directly and tells you what to change. They answer different questions and are best used together.
